Nice Fan
We've had this fan for several month and have no problems at all. I like it because it is close to the ceiling and being white it does not stand out in the room. It's well balanced and quiet. It's not the highest quality fan in our house, but it is a good solid fan with no problems.
It's over four years since I wrote that review and the fan still works, silent, and no wobble. Hugs ceiling and is not particularly noticeable. We keep it on almost all the time. Great bedroom fan.
Very Quiet
We love this fan! Our second floor bedrooms are very hot in summer, but this fan helps enormously. The design is sleek and modern and the motor very quiet. A great buy!
Poor Design re: Assembly, BUT: Overall result is a good fan that hugs the ceiling very closely.
I have assembled over 25 ceiling fans in my life. This was perhaps the most time consuming fan i have ever assembled. It was not particularly difficult, but there are many small parts and the overall assembly procedure is cumbersome. Most fans now have a much simpler design and take way less time. With that said, the end result is a fan that is VERY tight to the ceiling, looks really nice and works just fine. I needed a fan that could hug the ceiling closely, but had a dimmable light kit. This fan is close enough to the ceiling so i can have it directly above our queen size canopy rice bed and the canopy still clears the fan blades AND the light kit. No other fan i found fit the bill. One further note: Airflow as some others have noted is only so-so but i am using it in a bedroom so that is fine.
