Cuisinart SB-5600 Supreme Super 600 60-Ounce 6-Speed Stainless Steel Blender with Glass Jar

Great and stylish blender
It's simply a great blender and is very modern looking.

The buttons on the side of the blender are well placed and responsive. There's a small light to the left of every button except "OFF" that goes on when that button is selected, very nifty.

The glass container is sturdy and slightly heavy with measuring markers engraved in the glass. The blender has many blending options as well.

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but even I find it easy to disassemble, clean, and reassemble.

I highly recommend this product.

UPDATE: I've owned the blender for over a year and it still works and looks as good as it did the first day out of the box.

POWERHOUSE!
We drink protein shakes 3x a day. I love lots of ice in mine, and this blender is perfect for that! Even the lower settings are more than powerful enough to chop the ice up. And the fact that it is very good looking didn't hurt either! I used to run a juice stand and this does as good as any of the professional models I've used.

Great Blender for a Great Price
I wanted a high power blender similar to a Vitamix, but I noticed that Vitamix blenders were priced at approximately $400. Although this Cuisinart blender is not quite as powerful as a Vitamix, the price is much better and so is the overall look of the blender. This blender is the most powerful in the Cuisinart Line.
I have used this blender to make soups and fruit & vegetable smoothies and it has worked extremely well and is very easy to clean. The jar is also very strong and can contain a high quantity of liquids and solids. It is the best blender I have ever owned and would recommend it to anyone.

Great little 18v vacuum! Powerful for its size and compatible with the 18v li-ion batteries used by Hitachi drills and other power tools. This is a bare tool. NO BATTERY INCLUDED. It is designed to be used with a Hitachi set that you already own. Comes with three different head attachments.

Bare Tool means No battery an NO charger
So yeah - not very forthright - so why buy from them?

If they were honest folks they would say "battery and charger sold separately"

They fail to even have a link for the battery and charger - the bare battery sells for somewhere between $44 and $77 - I don't know how much as they don't say what battery you need to go with it. I would bet the charger goes for at least $25 - so this is really about a $140 vacuum..

Rheem Ruud Weatherking OEM Protech Parts 62-22578-01 Furnace Hot Surface Ignition Control Module

Ignition control module
The part number shown on Amazon doesn't match any part number printed on my failed ignition control module so I encountered a small problem in locating it on Amazon's website. Also, the price was too high. I found another internet posting selling this module for $57, however, I feel much more secure ordering from Amazon because I know that I will get what I ordered without any hassles. On the good side, the ignition control module arrived in a timely manner; important because my furnace was down and my house was cold. Most important, the module worked.after installation. It took me only 30 minutes to install it and It's good to have my heat back. Significant to me as well, I saved $300 over what a local HVAC company wanted to install this module.

I ordered the ignition control to restore heat in my house by replacing the defective factory part in my furnace...the product was in my mailbox two days later and several weeks later it continues to work like a Swiss watch. Kitchenaid KFP0711 Food Processor Onyx Black

Nice machine
Had zero problems with this product out of the box, everything works as described and I love the ability to adjust the thickness on the slicing blade.. I can alot of peppers and am on my 10th bushel of peppers thru this machine without a single flaw. I would recomend this machine to anybody that needs to speed there processing times up this machine will do it..

2 Bad Units in a row!
We purchased this model from a local Bed, Bath and Beyond. The first unit we bought did not work, no power was going to the unit base. We returned it and bought another one. The same thing happened! Seems like we bought two lemons in a row. I am not sure if this is BB&Bs fault or KitchenAid's but beware! So we purchased a Cuisinart instead and it worked perfectly, right out of the box.

Complete waste of money!
Got this food processor as a Christmas gift from my son. The first time I tried to use it, the main blade that fits onto the stem fell apart. I got in touch with the company and they were very nice and sent a new one. It worked once, but now the power will not come on when it is attached. When I use one of the other blades, it will sometimes work. The problem seems to be how well the blade apparatus "sits" on the site, in order to activate the system. I am tired of fooling with this processor, as it is utterly unreliable and frustrating! Avoid at all costs, as it will cost you both in $$ and in good spirits!

This is my second air purifier from BIONAIRE. I was intending to just purchase a new cartridge filter for my old one but the cost difference between a newer product and a filter made my decision easy to just purchase the whole new machine. As the old purifier was well over 12 yrs. I am more than delighted to have the new BIONAIRE. It is a very good air purifier and not noisy at all. Very easy to move around as it is light plus an attractive item for anyplace you place it.

The best air purifier I've ever tried
We get a lot of the smoke from the eruptions on this island and it can sometimes cause resperatory problems. All I have to do is turn on the Bionaire and in a couple of seconds, the air is clean and the coughing stops. This is a great machine.

Cuisinart Coffee Maker - 12 cup - White

Excellent coffee!
Bought this coffee maker for my mom for Christmas, and it makes just about the BEST tasting coffee I've had in a long time!
Easy to set up....no dribble or dripping, a five "beep" signal when it's done perking and a two "beep" signal at the two hour auto-shut-off.
It's the least expensive of the Cuisinart line, but for the money, it's the best tasting.
I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee maker.

Cuisinart got it right this time
I bought the Cuisinart coffee maker with a thermos carafe. Not bad, but disappointing in two respects. First, the coffee was not hot enough, and second, the carafe did not pour well, due to the need to have a sealed top, I assume.

So I tried again with a more standard Cuisinart coffee maker ((DCC-1100C). It replaces a Braun, which had worked well for years but suddenly died. This model is pretty close to ideal. Coffee good and hot, a setting for a small number of cups that actually works well, a great carafe, and, of greatest importance, excellent coffee. Also pretty easy to clean.

Finally found a GOOD coffee maker! Cuisinart DC1100 WHT
I have purchased several coffee makers over the last few years, and I can findly say I LOVE my coffee maker!

We have owned two Hamilton Beach, and one Bunn. Not happy with either one of them.
I purchased this coffee maker after reading different reviews, and liked what I read.

We have had it for a month now, and still pleased with this coffee maker.

Mini Dehumidifier - Thermo-Electric With Tio2 UV Light By Sunpentown

Very slow accumulation
I didn't think this piece of junk was even working for the first week that I had it on. It finally accumulated a little water, but the much larger humidifier was filling up large amounts in the mean time. I wouldn't recommend this product for anyone.

Works great
I bought this for my sister who lives in a small house. She'd been dealing with a lot of condensation on her windows which led to mold growth on her window sills. Since using this, she's been mold and condensation free.

Don't use for a camper
We used it for a very tiny camper and it didn't get the humidity out at all. Then had to pay to ship it back and a restocking fee. Won't order from 123stores again.

Good fans
Athough most Hunter fans are a bit pricey, this model is reasonably priced. Even at this price point, you get a high quality, reliable fan. I have purchased three Hunter fans for my current home after owning Hunter brand fans in my previous home that were going strong after 10 years with no issues. These fans are quiet, operate smoothly and installing isn't that difficult as long as you follow the instructions. These fans will provide a long time of use and Hunter stands behind their fans as well with their warranty.

This is reasonably priced here in comparison to the box stores.

Hunter Fan
This ceiling fan was easy to install and looks great in our stairwell. Runs very quiet and has reversible blades. Would recommend to a friend.

Excellent fan for home indoor use
This is extremely quiet and aesthetically pleasing.
I especially enjoy the near-silent operation of this small fan.
Don't let the size fool you: this cools as well as many other, larger
fans. You get your choice of blade finishes (can flip the blades
over for a different look, lighter-colored than pictured).
This is relatively low-profile and probably a better purchase for
the money spent than many of the so called "hugger" and
"ultra-low-profile" fans that cost much more.
This replaced an old, clunky fan that was a lot bigger and looked like
a set of helicopter blades. I believe I will replace all my larger fans
with this specific fan when their time comes for decommissioning.

beautiful but didn't withstand constant use
I loved this kettle when it arrived and it looked beautiful on the kitchen counter. I had read from other reviewers that it took quite a while to boil the water but I thought it had more pros than cons. However, it did take forever. (Well, ten minutes, but when you are wanting that lovely cuppa, ten minutes seems like hours!)
I put up with the time though because everything else about it was so appealing and it functioned fine. I am a Brit and boil water constantly, all day for tea, but I was very disappointed when not too long after I was using this kettle, it started to take longer and longer to boil and even after cleaning inside lime build up, the time it was taking was ridiculous. I finally gave up and went back to a different model I had in the past and am now happily using that.
If you really have no concern about the time it takes to boil water, this kettle is still a great buy. It truly is beautiful to look at and does it's job, albeit slowly.

Worked great for 1 year
I bought this kettle in October of 2011. It lasted till June of 2012. The on off button stopped engaging. I also paid about half what it is being sold for now. I hope they made some longevity changes. I loved the look and that it took up little space. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars.

Broil King 13.25x14-in. Professional Warming Tray, Stainless.

Robust but delicate surface
This product was purchased for use in a Meals-on-Wheels kitchen, where food is not prepared but just kept warm until sent out for delivery. The tray is robustly constructed and does its job well, but its stainless steel surface is easily stained and scratched. The instructions from BroilKing concerning the surface advise against using anything but mild cleaning products, so the surface remains marred and a bit unsightly, though perfectly usable.

Hunter HR 28683 Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan w/ Light & 5 Reversible Blades

Reconditioned Fan
This item was listed as reconditioned and I can't tell the difference form the new one. We initially purchased two what we thought were identical fans from Lowes. As it turned out one was a ceiling hugger and one was a drop down. We needed two ceiling huggers. When we went back to Lowes we found out that the huggers had been discontinued and they didn't have one, couldn't get one and couldn't offer any suggestions. We found the reconditioned fan through Amazon and ordered it. The unit is exactly like the new one and other than the packaging you can't tell the difference between the two units.

FORM: Snazzy, sleek, modern, industrial-style. Surprisingly, the beautiful brushed stainless steel is not a magnet for fingerprints.

FUNCTION: Quick and efficient.

OF NOTE: Perhaps a negative to some, this kettle is on the heavy side (the upside of which is its sturdiness).

For optimal use of the removable filter when filling the kettle and subsequently pouring the boiled water, Krups instructs the user to fill directly into the spout. I prefer to fill through the wider opening in the top of the kettle because there is less spillage. Since I use filtered water to begin with, this is not an issue to me.

a quality product
We purchased this kettle to replace two failed Capresso programmable kettles (the lids fell off both among other faults). It was immediately apparent that this product is well made and the first impressions have proved to be correct. The kettle boils water fast and switches off very quickly once it boils.It also looks good so what more could one ask for?
No negative points yet and dont expect any as this is a real quality product.

update It is now April 2012. The kettle has been used 3 to 4 times a day every day since we had it. Still proving to be a great product

I like this product very much. The only drawback I've noticed is a big noise when it comes to the boiling point.

This Thing Is Awesome!
This is a great Grill! When you are pushed for time and want to 'eat now' it is the best thing! I have only tried grilling fish in it (best for dropping pounds! lol) It only takes a few min. After you season your meats to taste you can smell it around the corner! P.S. the bags can go quick if you use it every day...but shhh don't tell nobody but between you and me...I think you can reuse a bag another time because when I had my timer quit too early I put my bag back in it for a few more min. and thought about that while it finish grilling. lol -I read the reviews about their meats being dry on top and not done on the bottom but you have to read the instructions and learn how to adjust according to the size of ur food u are grilling. The bottom line...you will love this grill!!!

ON THE ROAD COOKING!
We've cooked fish fillets, sliced breast of chicken portions and thin-sliced petite steaks in this machine, for starters. We've also cooked pre-made waffles to get that browning/toasty texture rather than microwaved soft waffles. Crisp toast, after buttering can be done, too. When you are on the road 24/7 and want to save money, eat portions of YOUR choosing, know where your food came from and have left-overs if you want it, then this is a good way to go. It isn't perfect; if you over-cook then it will be dry. Pay attention to times recommended for cooking and adjust accordingly to portions of different sizes. It's a pretty easy contraption to use in a big truck. No clean up, for the most part!

What toast was meant to be, and what toasters dreamed of being.
A thunderstorm knocked out our Breville, which we liked very much, but when I went to replace it I found that the price had increased and shopped for a more economical replacement, settling on this one from Bodum.

Since color had been a problem for others, and wasn't important to us given our neutral kitchen design, I chose black. We could not have been more delighted.

This is a knockout design, both functionally and aesthetically.

Most important, this thing makes predictably wonderful toast: perfect toast, nutty and sweet. It's as if we'd never tasted toast before! Controls are sensibly located, clearly labeled, and easy to read. If you want to conceal the cord, there's a clever way to do it that doesn't intrude on the design. The rubberized surface doesn't attract fingerprints and is easy to clean. Whoever designed this toaster clearly thought about how people used toasters, pondered how to improve the experience, and put that learning to work. Its...

If it fits, toast it!,
After looking at many toasters and reading many reviews, I purchased the Bodum Bistro 2-slice toaster to replace our aging single extra wide-extra long slot toaster that died.

I got into trouble immediately with my better half over the "oval" style of this toaster. Be forewarned...if you prefer a traditional style, better pass on this one. I convinced my spouse to give it a chance based on all the wonderful reviews as to how great it toasted bread.

After it arrived and we started to use it, it was clear I was in trouble again. None of the breads we buy fit in the slot without surgery or using our hand to force it down in the slot. Lest you think we buy weird sized breads, think again. We typically buy a popular sliced multi-grain, a sliced sourdough, and a sliced French bread. The edges of the two latter breads had to be trimmed (scissors work fine) to fit the bread in the slot. The multi-grain fit a bit snugly in the slot opening so it had to be pushed down by...

Finally a toaster that toasts!!
After purchasing several toasters over the last couple of years, I found myself reading yet another review on a toaster here on Amazon. A reviewer mentioned their frustration with that toaster and said they were giving up and just buying a Bodum. I had no idea Bodum was making toasters and immediately looked it up, read the reviews and ordered for next day delivery! I was so frustrated with our DeLonghi/Kitchen Aid/Cuisinart toasters and needed to pop the bread down twice and even turning it around to get an even toast. Not the biggest stress in life, but I mean, with all the technological advances, why is the toaster stuck in the past...wait the past had better toasters than we are able to get today....UNTIL NOW!!!

I don't normally write reviews, but this toaster warranted taking the time. It perfectly toasted my english muffin in one shot (no turning, retoasting, etc.!!) Wow, I can put bread in, press down the lever and toast pops up, evenly browned and beautiful! Oh...

Honeywell Whole Room Power Fans

Noisy, even on the lowest setting
I would only suggest getting this fan if loud fan noise (even on the lowest setting) doesn't bother you, but if it does, don't get it. It's crazy noisy.

Light, compact and powerful
My husband just bought a two pack of these fans. They are absolutely perfect. We wanted a fan that could easily be moved around, and this one is very light. It doesn't oscillate, but the head can be tilted, so it is very easy to direct the airflow. The cone of air seems quite wide, so the lack of oscillation is not a big deal. This fan is a godsend for the working in the kitchen on summer days!

HONEYWELL FANS
I'VE USED THIS HONEYWELL BRAND FAN IN THE PASS AND ALWAYS FOUND THEM TO BE VERY POWERFUL. IT COOLS OFF THE WHOLE ROOM. I WAS AMAZED AT HOW WELL THESE SMALL FANS DID THE JOB AND THEY DON'T MAKE ALOT OF UNNECESSARY NOISE.

Extremely happy
Bought this to replace an inadequate 6k BTU unit for my ~450 sq foot studio. The smaller unit barely made a dent in the heat, but this one easily cools down the whole studio. I'm extremely happy with it.

Cools Ok but made cheap
works ok for a large open room , But starves to try and keep whole Trailer cool. Cools room 14 by 20 just fine.

High quality Durable
It's a nice air conditioner; works well, looks nice and will probably be very reliable. The installation into vinyl covered windows is "stupid hard". None of the parts fit the window, including the bellows to block the open portion of the window. I will have to figure out some way on my own to configure the window such that it will be insulated from outside. My complaint to the company fell on deaf ears.

Double Knife Display Case With Sheath Holder 14in Stand Fits Custom Work and Randall Knives

No quite what i expected
The took a while to arrive and the packaging was so poor the see through casing was broken upon arrival..!! The knives and it's sheaths didn't fit like in the picture despite being a similiar size to the one in the picture..so we are trying to find ways to make it work with the base as the time and expense to return the item isn't worth the cost..

Smell
This is a good heater, it provides very good heat. However, it does have a very strong hard rubber smell. The older one I had is SPT brand and it seems doesn't have such rubber smell. If you don't mind the smell, then it is still a good one consider its price value. Otherwise I will recommended to pay some more to get the other brand.

Kalorik Programmable 12-Cup Coffee Maker Stainless Steel, RED

Great Coffee!
As this lasted barely 9 mos, I put it to 2 stars. I found this after searching and searching for a coffee maker that would just make coffee and had the pause feature as well as auto shut off. I love the mocha color. The coffee is hot but not too hot, controls are very easy to use and located at the top front which I like. I have read reviews about the pot not going in and out of place easily and found it no inconvenience, just a matter of getting used to. Two things I LOVE about this are that you can pour water in without it spilling on counter and when you pour a cup mid brew, not only is the coffee good but there is NO dripping on the hotplate portion, it stays clean. I suppose I could see where some people complain about the material looking cheap but I love the wrap around back, very easy to see water level. To sum up, if you are looking for a different style that is easy to use and makes a reliable, good pot of coffee, I recommend this. If a new style isn't your concern,...

Kitchen accents in red
I ordered this coffee maker for my new kitchen that is black counters and vanilla cabinets. I wanted a red coffee maker to match the other red appliances and red accents I had. Of course I had read endless pages of coffee maker reviews before I selected this one. I had the top of the line highly rated cusinart coffee maker before I bought this Kolorik coffee maker. The Kalorik makes great coffee as good or better than the cusinart. I love coffee and drink 6-8 cups a day! This machine makes great coffee and matches my kitchen perfectly. Easy to program, easy to fill with water, a good buy!

I decided to keep it anyway, but when trying to use it for the first time, found that the handle on the carafe was so loose that it could not possibly support a full carafe of liquid.I returned it and decided to get a dfferent brand, fearing a repeat performance, since it was beyond the supplier's control.

I've always hated the Foreman grills. They sell, in my opinion, only because of Foreman's name. They're not new, novel, inventive, unique... and they never were. The day they hit the shelves, I was using a five year old unit much like them, but better. So when I went shopping for an indoor grill and kept running into people pushing Foreman's grills, I was frustrated. Finally, I stumbled across the Kalorik in a store and asked about it, did a little online research and decided to take a chance.

Awesome Indoor/Outdoor Portable Grill!
This little grill is awesome!
I have owned it now for a year and have no problems whatsoever. I absolutely love it. I never really could figure out how to not overcook food on the gas grill, I always left it up to my hubby buit he could never seem to get to it! So I decided to buy a grill that was easy for me to use. I use it both inside and outside all the time. My family and I camp on the weekends and this grill is always thrown in the back of the truck. It is not huge but it is plenty big for my family of four. It is split 50/50, grill/griddle but I have no problems cooking meat on the griddle side. I love that you can grab it and carry it by the handle (just be sure to clean the grease tray before doing this, opps!) This is a wonderful grill. I have a screened in back porch and it is so neat to be able to cook out there. It is large enough for quite a few steaks or chicken pieces, easy to clean, and the glass top is so neat. The electrical is working great, heats up quickly. Great addition to my kitchen tools.

Ok, fan is great now that its up. The mounting hardware is pathetic. The 3" mountin screws snapped during install. Turned the 5 min fan into a 2 hour fan... Other than that its pretty dang good fan.

The fan works great. However, I challenge anyone to install it in 5 minutes. I bought two. The first one took 3 hours to install. The second one took 30 minutes.

Community theater safety
We ordered this unit as a direct replacement for a smoke detector in the return air duct of our second floor HVAC system. We felt it was a vital part of our safety program in case of fire since our community theater auditorium is on the second floor of a 100+ year old building. We couldn't get the unit to work until we called in an electrical engineer. He determined the unit would not work with the 24v supply from the main HVAC equipment, but would work with a separate 120v supply line. It was easier and quicker for us to run a new 120v line rather than return this unit and start all over again.

This steamer is awesome...
This steamer works very well. Shoots out a lot of steam, gets all the grime you cant get to with a rag. Great on tile and around sinks. I used it on mirrors instead of cleaners. Includes a handy strap for carrying around. You won't be disappointed. Will be buying one as a gift.

Keurig B30 Mini Personal Single-Serve Brewing System, Red

Few tradeoffs for serious convenience
I previously purchased a B40 for my office. The convenience and selection of coffees immediately made it a favorite among co-workers and myself. Of course this meant that I wanted one for home. One problem with the B40 is the noise. Not bad for an office environment but unforgivable first thing in the morning at home. When the B30 was announced and promised to be quieter, that was just what the doctor ordered. This thing is VERY quiet in comparison. I only drink one cup in the morning prior to going to work so the lack of a reservoir is not an issue. If you want multiple cups 30 seconds apart this is not the machine for you. If you don't mind the extra step of dumping a cup of water in a hole and waiting 2 1/2 minutes after you press the brew button (if you own the B40 you were already doing this when you turned the power on) then this machine is great. Oh, and the small footprint means you can be very flexible in where you decide to put it. No major concessions in the countertop...

Great "second" K-cup brewer!
After enjoying my full-size B60 at home for about a year now, I really wanted to get one for my office. However, I didn't see the need to buy another B60, or a B40 for that matter, since I'd only be using it a few times a week (I'm not "in" my office that much). Once I heard about the Mini 30, my curiosity was peaked.

I think most negative reviews will be from people who plan on using this as their main K-cup brewer, and that's a shame, because this most certainly is not meant for that job. Reasons why:

1) It has a long brew time (usually around 2 minutes for the 8 oz it holds) and has to be filled with water for each cup.
2) It has only one cup size (8 oz).
3) It has no adjustable temperature setting (but the default is perfectly fine at about 192 degrees).

It has some odd quirks too. For example, there's a separate "power" button that's located quite distant from the "brew" button, and the unit will automatically turn itself off after...

Good product for one person - small apt
I have the B40 and have recently purchased the B30. I use the B40 for home and enjoy it with my husband.

The coffee at work is sub-par at best and for some time now wanted to purchase another B40 for my office. I didn't want to share it with the other 30 people in my office by putting it in the shared kitchen. My co-workers are nice people, but considering how the fridge looks, they're not the most considerate in the "shared appliances" world.

So when Keurig people came out with the B30, I was happy to check it out. It has a small footprint -- perfect for my desk. It's a attractive, yet not so flashy so may go un-noticed on my desk area at work.

It makes coffee just as well as my full-sized machine. I plan to use it regularly with a "My K-Cup" that I purchased. I think the design is nice and sleek overall.

I like this product. It is light weight and makes wonderful smoothies. It does make alot noise when blending and vibrates. It is important to make sure the suction cups on the feet are secure.

So very disappointed
We have a 13 year old Hamilton Beach blender that we purchased from a restaurant supply company as we were selling our restaurant. It is still going. We had a need for a second blender and thought we would stick with what served us so well. This is a completely different animal. The plastic is cheap and thin, the motor sounds and smells as though it is going to seize, and on the 4th use, small metal bits of a washer shot out of the thing. I cannot recommend this blender less.

I WOULD DEFINITELY ORDER A DIFFERENT BRAND NEXT TIME
Very disappointed in this product. I still have the older Hamilton Beach model #1C909 MADE IN THE U.S.A., which is so much more efficient then this new one I ordered. I can not understand why you call it a COMMERCIAL BLENDER. When I turn on the blender on high the motor smells like it is bruning and this is suppose to be more powerful the the older model #1C909.

Hamilton Beach 04492 True-Air Tower Ionic Air Purifier

Great Air Cleaner
I bought one of these at Wal-Mart to replace an expensive Honeywell that I had in my house for many years. It finally died and I went to buy another one just like it, but it was no longer available. I decided to try to this one and have been very impressed.

The unit is quiet, not like the other review. The auto setting automatically adjusts when the air is dirty. In the morning after my wife sprays her hairspray, the unit in our bedroom kicks up to high for a few minutes to clear the air!

I am so impressed by this unit, that I have purchased six more, for a total of seven. We have a large house and I want two in my living area, two in my family room, one in my bedroom and one in each kid bedroom.

The unit is much quieter than the Honeywell and I like the fact that I do not have to replace the filter.

Only time will tell if it is a good product for several years, but right now this is a GREAT PRODUCT!!

ONLY #04492 Has the PERMANENT AIR FILTER
UPDATE - Dec. 13th, 2009.
I received my Model #04492. It has the PERMANENT FILTER which is REMOVABLE to Clean. It IS NOT TOO LOUD as some people have stated. I keep mine on Auto Sensor and I LOVE IT!

After over a week of constant use (I NEVER SHUT IT OFF) my eyes are no longer PUFFY in the morning. I do not see a haze in the air any longer when the sun shines through the window either. I am not a smoker so that was not it. I had dirty air stirred up by the ceiling fan which is almost always on.

This gets a 5 star from me!

So much confusion here because Amazon combines it's reviews for both Models #04492 AND #04491.

Great purifier!
I was really hesitant at buying this product as it is much cheaper compared to other ionic/hepa filter purifiers..but this is really a great product and was very surprised at just how well it works. It has multiple settings, an auto sensor that will allow it to adjust itself, the filter never needs to be changed..only cleaned 3-6 months.

It has improved our air quality so much at home. We have 2 dogs and 2 kids running around this home, pet dandor and dust galore! You could normally see it in the air at times it was so much (through the sun rays coming in the windows) and now we don't see it nearly as much if hardly at all. This is a great buy for the price, I highly recommend it. We haven't had one problem with it since we bought it!

BISSELL DigiPro Canister Vacuum, 6900

5 Star Performer
I am a big fan of canister vacuums, and when my old one recently broke I turned to Amazon to research all the latest models. I decided to buy the DigiPro because of the many features it offered for a great price. I am pleased to report that it performs better than I expected, and I was happy with my old one so I expected quite a bit. I like how it allows me to control the amount of suction power, the adjustments for various carpet heights/hard floors, and the ability to turn on/off the brushes. It has washable HEPA filters so there are no expensive filters to replace and it even has a light that comes on when it is time to change the bag. The cord has a push button retractor so the cord rewinds itself and stores out of the way.

I have 3 kids, 1 dog, and 1 cat, so needless to say I have plenty to clean up. It's nice knowing that tucked away in the closet is a great vacuum that can help me tackle any mess. This vacuum is definitely worthy of a 5 star review.

Don't be fooled you will not get true HEPA output!!
Yes this vacuum is lite, it's small, it has very good suction and reasonable (a bit small) tools. Though one of the biggest reasons many people buy it is for is it's proclaimed HEPA filtration. This seems like false advertising and I shall explain why. The unit is advertised to provide HEPA filtration but most of the exaust is not expelled through the filter!! Rather it is expelled through the rear of the vacuum where the cord is attached. This is likely because the unit is not sealed. A HEPA filter is attached on the exaust port at the top of the unit but exaust is routed out of cracks do to back-pressure from the HEPA filter. HEPA filters can catch particles as small as 3 microns and this makes them very resistant to air flow. Back pressure is built up due to this resistance and the resulting pressure forces the air to escape through paths of lesser resistance. Unfortunately this releases most all the molds, dust mites, and other allergins into the air. As matter of fact it...

Reviewer has a good point, HEPA of very poor design
The Reviewer makes an excellent point! This unit will not provide HEPA filtration of exaust air. So if you are buying this unit due to allergies or based on the procaimed HEPA filtration you would do best to pass this unit up. However as a normal vacuum, the unit is very good. Due to its small size it is very easy to manuver through tight spots. Suction is very good as well as the power head. The hose is of poor quality and tends to kink, but all in all a good vacuum. They just shouldn't claim HEPA filtration as the previous reviewer (mictrik) has pointed out so well. These days it isn't hard to find vacuums with HEPA filtration so passing this unit up wont be to big of a loss. Fix this issue and Bissell would have a true star.

Litex WOD52GV5 All Weather Ceiling Fan

Difficult to Find But I Like it!!
A strong wind broke 1 or 2 of these made but another manufacturer. It took over an hour of scanning page after web-page until this matched the color and size of the replacement fan. I was determined to find a replacement because the keyword search for outdoor ceiling fan return over 1000 hits. The more refined searches did not come up with this size, color, and location of use.
The design works fine. You can even add on a light on the bottom which is not a requirement of mine. On a 80-90 degree day it is just right. Don't you wish you can get what you want based on a keyword search for your need on a 90 degree day?

Weathertech 110020-120020 Front and Rear No Drill Mudflaps

Great buy!
2013 F-250 excellent fit, I had no problem installing them. We live on a gravel road, has really helped keep the rocks off the side of my truck.

Weathertech does it again!
I am relatively handy with most things. But, even if I was not, these were very simple and easy to install. It took maybe, 10 minutes each side. They look great and function well. I had an older F250 that did not have mud flaps. I just sold it and I winced at the number of little rock chips along the edge of the outer fenders/ wheel wells. My new 1012 F250 won't have the same problem. Thanks Weathertech!

Melitta Fast Brew
I haven't fine-tuned the strength of the brew yet, but I like the quickness and the heat of the coffee when brewed. Better than the other coffee makers we've tried.

I really enjoy my new coffee maker! It's stylish and very fast. I love the brew strength feature. My old coffee maker had the pause and serve feature, but it somehow always dripped onto the hot plate just a bit. This coffee maker doesn't lose a drop! The only problem I have with this coffee maker is the top, it doesn't stay up all the way and it is very difficult to pour all the water from the carafe without spilling. Otherwise, it's excellent!

Oreck ProShield® Air Purifier

Good air purifier....BUT
While I believe the Oreck ProShield is working well, it is, in my opinion, very noisey. It uses electrically charged plates, when the particles flow through, they are drawn to the plates. When this happens, sometimes (or quite often as I have found) it makes a electrical snap type noise. Imagine a really bad static eletricity pop. That's about what it sounds like. The owner's manual states that when this happens frequently, the "truman cell" needs to be cleaned. I have owned this now for 3 days and have cleaned it twice. There was a thin layer of dust that I assumed was making all the noise, after cleaning, the noise was gone for the most part...until about 4-6 hours later. (Note: It takes several hours to dry after cleaning.) I have this placed in my living room and have to turn it off to watch TV due to the amount of popping noises it makes (about 15-20 pops per minute) I can't imagine using it in my bedroom at night.

Now on to the positive side, like I said, it seems to...

No Regrets
I bought my unit two years ago directly from Oreck and I've never had any problems with it. I live in a city that has smog problems in the winter. And some days the air is so bad I couldn't even find relief at home. This product solved the problem. I stopped coughing at night. I stopped sneezing. I stopped waking up with a sore throat.

I don't know that the unit removes 99.9% of dust particles from the air as claimed. But if it removes even 75% then that's a major improvement in air quality. I definitely notice the difference.

My only problem is that the old man in the commercial said that it would cut down on dust and that I would see less dust in the room. I think the reality is that the unit emits an electrostatic charge to dust particles throughout the room. Some of that dust is captured by the unit and the rest of it sticks to surfaces around the room. The electrostatic charge causes the dust to stick to surfaces rather than float in the air; which means...

Produces ozone, bad for lungs. Clean, dry 6 to 24 hours every few weeks. Filtration much worse than "true HEPA" air purifiers.
Oreck ProShield is not recommended, not rated by Consumer Reports magazine.

The removable assembly of metal plates and wires is called "Truman Cell". The cell has wires to ionize the air particles which are then captured by electrically charged metal plates.

Problems with the Truman Cell :
(1) Cell produces ozone, which is converted to oxygen by the non-removable zeolite panel after it. This panel gets clogged with dust after 6 months and stops converting. Vacuuming does little good.
Ozone increases in concentration inside your house, damages your lungs and can cause lung cancer. Ozone is an air pollutant and health hazard reported daily by the weather service.

Search on the internet about ozone generators. The instructions will tell you to "close off and vacate" the area to be treated. "Make sure the unit has been turned off for about an hour" before reoccupying the space. That is, people or pets should not be in areas with much ozone...

Swizz Style EMS-164 "Aquila" Ultrasonic Humidifier

Works well but cannot turn off ultra-bright light
The humidifier works really well and produces great vapor with a good quality mineral filter and ionic silver to inhibit bacterial growth. For function alone, I would give this 5 starts. But I gave it two stars because of the obnoxious, ultra-bright internal LED lights that cannot be turned off. The lights are so bright that it lights up the entire room at night. It's not an ambient glow, it's BRIGHT. I received this as a gift for my son's nursery, and the only way I can use it is to rig pen caps as "covers" for the LED lights (I can't use tape because they're located IN the water reservoir) and then wrap the tank in black fabric. Even then, it still puts off a glow that's about equivalent to a bright night light. It's such a pain in the neck to get this thing set up with the pen caps and the fabric that I avoid using it. This would be a great product if not for the internal lights. What a horrible design flaw.

Super Fine Smokey-Type Mist Humidifier
I knew from other reviews that this humidifier had lights that you cannot turn off when it is functioning. This is 100 percent true. The blue LEDs are beneath the tank and while you can dim them, you cannot turn the lights off while the unit is functioning. This is a drawback, but shouldn't completely discourage you. The light is not that bright when dimmed and I agree with another reviewer that it is no more disruptive than a fishtank light.

There are TWO really AWESOME things about this humidifier that are unique and great. I own two other brands, so I know what I'm talking about.

1. The humidity comes out like a 'smoke' and not wet. Everyone who has seen this operate has commented on how they want one like this with the super fine 'smoke' and not just misting wet air and ruining everything within a few feet. This really does look like it's smoking rather than misting and surfaces within its proximity do not get wet. It doesn't have a fan to push the humidity...

Great unit with one major problem
We typically use humidifiers for our two daughters this time of year, and this "Aquila" Ultrasonic Humidifier arrived just a day or two after three out of four members of the family were diagnosed with sinus infections. This was perfectly easy to set up right out of the box. Literally taking it from my porch to pressing the on button took, at most, seven or eight minutes. This is a compact, well-made unit that really packs a punch. It works better than the humidifier we had been using, despite only being half its size.

Alas, there is a drawback and it borders on being significant. As another reviewer pointed out, the blue glow produced by this tiny device can be quite powerful and distracting in a dark room. I read through the instructions carefully, and even though the booklet gave the impression that the LED light could be dimmed or turned off completely, I found only three settings total - regular, dim light, and off. Indeed, there is no option to completely turn off...
