Cuisinart Coffee Maker - 12 cup - White

Excellent coffee!
Bought this coffee maker for my mom for Christmas, and it makes just about the BEST tasting coffee I've had in a long time!
Easy to set up....no dribble or dripping, a five "beep" signal when it's done perking and a two "beep" signal at the two hour auto-shut-off.
It's the least expensive of the Cuisinart line, but for the money, it's the best tasting.
I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee maker.

Cuisinart got it right this time
I bought the Cuisinart coffee maker with a thermos carafe. Not bad, but disappointing in two respects. First, the coffee was not hot enough, and second, the carafe did not pour well, due to the need to have a sealed top, I assume.

So I tried again with a more standard Cuisinart coffee maker ((DCC-1100C). It replaces a Braun, which had worked well for years but suddenly died. This model is pretty close to ideal. Coffee good and hot, a setting for a small number of cups that actually works well, a great carafe, and, of greatest importance, excellent coffee. Also pretty easy to clean.

Finally found a GOOD coffee maker! Cuisinart DC1100 WHT
I have purchased several coffee makers over the last few years, and I can findly say I LOVE my coffee maker!

We have owned two Hamilton Beach, and one Bunn. Not happy with either one of them.
I purchased this coffee maker after reading different reviews, and liked what I read.

We have had it for a month now, and still pleased with this coffee maker.

Pros- reasonably price
the hottest coffee EVER!
love the preset brew (coffee ready when I wake)
nice apperance/ I have the white
Cons- I have no complaints
I would totally recommend this coffee maker to anyone looking for a nice HOT cup of coffee :-) *****

Kalorik Programmable 12-Cup Coffee Maker Stainless Steel, RED

Great Coffee!
As this lasted barely 9 mos, I put it to 2 stars. I found this after searching and searching for a coffee maker that would just make coffee and had the pause feature as well as auto shut off. I love the mocha color. The coffee is hot but not too hot, controls are very easy to use and located at the top front which I like. I have read reviews about the pot not going in and out of place easily and found it no inconvenience, just a matter of getting used to. Two things I LOVE about this are that you can pour water in without it spilling on counter and when you pour a cup mid brew, not only is the coffee good but there is NO dripping on the hotplate portion, it stays clean. I suppose I could see where some people complain about the material looking cheap but I love the wrap around back, very easy to see water level. To sum up, if you are looking for a different style that is easy to use and makes a reliable, good pot of coffee, I recommend this. If a new style isn't your concern,...

Kitchen accents in red
I ordered this coffee maker for my new kitchen that is black counters and vanilla cabinets. I wanted a red coffee maker to match the other red appliances and red accents I had. Of course I had read endless pages of coffee maker reviews before I selected this one. I had the top of the line highly rated cusinart coffee maker before I bought this Kolorik coffee maker. The Kalorik makes great coffee as good or better than the cusinart. I love coffee and drink 6-8 cups a day! This machine makes great coffee and matches my kitchen perfectly. Easy to program, easy to fill with water, a good buy!

Kalorik Red Programmable 12 Cup Coffee Maker
I in no way blame the supplier for this problem and think it is a factory issue. I ordered red, and the box SAID red, but it was not. I decided to keep it anyway, but when trying to use it for the first time, found that the handle on the carafe was so loose that it could not possibly support a full carafe of liquid.I returned it and decided to get a dfferent brand, fearing a repeat performance, since it was beyond the supplier's control.

Melitta MEFB6W 12 Cup Fast Brew Digital Programmable Coffee Maker, white

Best Coffe Maker Bar-none
My melitta fast brew from 2000 lasted 7 years. Last month, Oct-2007 it crapped out. I went looking for a replacement online, knowing I wanted another fast brew---long story-short---the online reviews of melitta fast brew picked apart the design..ie....heating plate ect...
Because I liked my old fast brew...I spent the 59.00
What a great purchse!!
If it only lasts 3 months, I will replace it.
Hands-down, this is the best!

Cffe in 24 sec., stainless stell tubes makes coofee tatse better, cool design, everyone in my home comments on how cool it looks, but, better than that is is tough, elegant, and is a brewing machine.
Trent

Melitta Fast Brew
I haven't fine-tuned the strength of the brew yet, but I like the quickness and the heat of the coffee when brewed. Better than the other coffee makers we've tried.

great little machine, but....
I really enjoy my new coffee maker! It's stylish and very fast. I love the brew strength feature. My old coffee maker had the pause and serve feature, but it somehow always dripped onto the hot plate just a bit. This coffee maker doesn't lose a drop! The only problem I have with this coffee maker is the top, it doesn't stay up all the way and it is very difficult to pour all the water from the carafe without spilling. Otherwise, it's excellent!

Frigidaire FD7188 12-Cup Stainless Steel Programmable Coffee Maker with Coffee Grinder, 220 to 240-volt

Awesome Price - good coffee
For under a 100 bucks for a 220v coffee maker, this unit looks great and preforms great. Not the same quality as a Cuisinart, but also not the same price! Overall good product I would recommend to all looking for a good deal coffee maker.

Cheaply made
I do not often rate products. But this one looks pretty in the photograph but it is so very flimsily made. I have only just taken it out of the box and I am already so disappointed. It hasn't made a cup of coffee yet...I will let you know how well it performs.

Also, it has a UK plug not a German plug. This isn't a problem for me because I already had adapters ... but you may wish to purchase one if you don't have one already.

H.E.B. Taste of San Antonio 12 Count FIVE-PACK

Best of the Best
I had some of this coffee while in Texas 8 months ago. I have been trying to get some for a while. A friend from Texas would send me some now and then. So I finally looked at Amazon and WOW found it at a great price. Will never stop buying it. Scott

Such a nice roast!
A friend introduced me to this coffee. Normally I require cream, but this roast is so nice that I actually prefer it black and can avoid the cream calories!

Amazing coffee, amazing seller
Yes, it may be twice the money that you would pay for in stores, but this is literally the only seller selling this online. As someone who no longer lives in San Antonio, I try to ignore the price hike and enjoy my coffee. The seller even worked with me and was fast to respond to my requests.

Hoping for other favors such as Austin and Hill country too ;)

Thank you so much!

Mr. Coffee BVMC-ZH1B Power Serve 12-Cup Coffeemaker, Black

Mr. Coffee without the carafe!
Coffee is one of my four main food groups, so I am always pleased to try a new twist on coffee brewing. The Mr. Coffee Power Serve is a carafe-less coffee brewing system with a convenient, delayed brewing feature, a pause and serve feature, and cup-at-a-time dispensing.

You notice immediately upon unpacking that there is no carafe! The coffee is brewed directly into a reservoir, and you dispense your coffee directly into your cup or mug by pressing it against a pedal in the front. You can brew up to 12 cups at a time, and it takes 10 minutes to brew a full 12 cups.

The reservoir is designed to be used as a pitcher from which to pour the fresh water, but since it is a square shape, I found it to be a little awkward. I use a water pitcher instead. One very nice feature is that there are clearly marked "steps" in the back of the machine where you pour the water that makes it easy to add exactly the right amount. This is a big improvement over the hard-to-read marks...

Quite Dissatisfied - unfortunately
This coffeemaker was bought to replace another carafe-less coffeemaker from 'Cuisinart', which gave up the ghost. Coffee, is a must in our family - 1x/day-weekdays and 2x/day-weekends, not counting friends visiting or family coming over.

In the past I have had 3+ Mr. Coffee units and been fairly well pleased so I thought this one would be a decent unit. Boy was I surprised.

The Good:
1) I liked the speed at which it brewed - very nice and fast
2) The layout of controls is simple and uncomplicated
3) The coffee tasted as it should - no odd tastes that we could determine
4) The water fill area is nicely wide - compared to others that I have used
5) The ease of cleaning - IMO

The Bad:
1A) Purchase Date: 7/13/2011
1B) Date of First use: 7/14/2011
1C) Stopped working date: 8/21/2011
1D) Length of product life: 5 & 1/2 weeks - (39 days total)[TOTALLY unacceptable]

2) The inability of setting the...

Great customer service
The coffee maker that I received made coffee but the dispenser did not work. I contacted Mr Coffee's customer service and they sent me a new machine without any hassles. I always appreciate a company with good customer service. The new machine works well.

This coffee maker is rather bulky. It takes up about the same amount of counter space as my old coffee maker: Cuisinart 12-Cup Brew Central Coffeemaker, but the Mr Coffee is larger on top and this adds a lot of bulk. The other thing I don't like about this coffee maker is that the reservoir is plastic. If you drink the coffee right away it's not a big problem, but if you let the coffee sit for a while it tends to get a plastic flavor. I prefer coffee makers with glass carafes.

Deni 6000 Ice Crusher

BETTER HOLD ON TO THIS ONE!
I don't really mean that in a good way. I received my Deni 6000 from Amazon and unpacked it right away. I've been using a Metrokane Ice Crusher for over a year now which makes the perfectly sized crushed ice for chomping on(not too bad for drinks, either) but the Metrokane is a hand-crank style and since I'm crushing ice about ten times a day... I thought I'd look for an electric one.

First off, the Deni 6000 makes ice chips about the size of a grain of rice- shaved ice style. This is an excellent product if you are looking to make sno cones or tropical adult drinks. I do not find the highly uniform and tiny size of the ice bits very good for crunching and munching, however. I don't think I'd like this style ice for my amaretto or whiskey sours, either- the ice melts too much when you add anything to it. But, that is really a matter of taste in function.

My two biggest issues- which prompted me to return the product- it has a funky little ice chute that...

Not Great
Takes only one ice cube @ a time - and it rattles around a lot, unit seems kinda flimsy, it only slightly redeems itself with pretty finely crushed ice (not quite shaved as a previous review mentions) - there is a professional model listed on here for about double the price ... if you can afford it go for the upgrade, but this unit will suffice.

Great ice shaver, lousy ice crusher
Deni should of called this an ice shaver vs an ice crusher. If you want to make snowcones, its great. Be prepared to feed the hopper ice cubes 1 by 1, because thats about all that will fit. If you want ice chips, buy a good blender or one of those hand crank ice crushers. On the plus side, it is stylish and the motor is quiet. If you want snowcones, buy it. But if you want good old chipped ice, don't!
